The Pittsburgh Steelers have now wrapped up their Thursday practice as they continue to prepare to play the New York Jets this Sunday at MetLife Stadium. The second injury report of the week is now out and here is what it says. Guard Ramon Foster (pectoral) practiced fully for a second straight day and that continues to be encouraging news. According to Scott Brown of ESPN.com, Foster was able to get through Thursday's practice with only minimal pain and he is reportedly confident he will play Sunday. Steelers LG Ramon Foster practiced today with minimal pain, and he is confident he will play Sunday despite minor pectoral strain. — Scott Brown (@ScottBrown_ESPN) October 10, 2013 Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (finger) practiced fully again with the injured index finger on his throwing hand. The Steelers quarterback injured the finger in the second half against the Minnesota Vikings, but is at no risk of missing the game against the Jets. Tight end Heath Miller (coaches decision) was added to the injury report Thursday as being limited. This again looks to be a precautionary move and it will likely become a weekly occurrence with him moving forward. Wide receiver Markus Wheaton (finger) of course remains sidelined and he has long been ruled out for the Sunday game. Wheaton needed surgery last week on a pinky finger that he broke in the loss to the Vikings. With Wheaton out this week, wide receiver Derek Moye will dress for the game in his place and will serve as the fourth wide receiver.
