It looks like the Pittsburgh Steelers will be without safety
Troy Polamalu and center Maurkice Pouncey when they take on the Cincinnati
Bengals this weekend, reports Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com.
Reports suggest the Pittsburgh Steelers will be without
safety Troy Polamalu (calf) and Maurkice Pouncey (knee) in Week 7.
Polamalu has been dealing with a calf injury for much of the
season. After it caused him to miss several games, the safety was able to
return against the Philadelphia Eagles only to aggravate the injury. He wasn’t
able to play last week against the Tennessee Titans.
Pouncey exited Sunday’s loss to the Titans with a knee
injury. It’s not clear how much time he’ll miss, but Pittsburgh will have large
shoes to fill without him. His presence is invaluable to the Steelers and their
offensive line that’s struggled again so far this season.
