The injuries keep mounting for the Pittsburgh Steelers as linebacker James Harrison has an orbital fracture.
Upon meeting the media Tuesday, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin disclosed the injury and said Harrison would miss a "number of weeks" after undergoing surgery Wednesday.
It is a big blow for the Steelers, who already have concerns about quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's left foot sprain. Tomlin said Roethlisberger would be limited in practice this week but did not rule him out for Sunday's game vs. Tennessee.
Harrison apparently suffered his injury during a helmet-to-helmet hit in Sunday's loss at Houston. He was about to take on a blocker when he was hit in the head during a running play.
Harrison left the game but returned to play the fourth quarter. He is a four-time Pro Bowl selection with a reputation for hard hits.
