According to Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad linebacker Marshall McFadden on Twitter, he will get promoted to the 53 man roster later this week and dress for the Sunday night game against the Baltimore Ravens.
The move has not been made as of yet, and likely won't be made official until Saturday if indeed it happens. It is unclear who would be released if indeed McFadden is promoted. Chris Carter missed practice on Wednesday with an abdomen injury, but the rest of the linebacker group appears to be healthy as Stevenson Sylvester practiced fully on Wednesday. The Thursday injury report is now out, and as expected, wide receiver Antonio Brown (ankle), tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle), safety Troy Polamalu (calf), and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (shoulder, rib) did not practice.
