Below are the snaps counts from the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday win over the New York Jets along with some observations Offensively, not much sticks out except for the fact that Will Johnson saw more playing time thanks to the team leading in the second half. Tight end David Paulson also saw an increase in snaps but that was a result of David Johnson leaving the game early with a wrist injury. Heath Miller played every offensive snap in addition. On defense, the Steelers were able to use their quarters package quite a bit thanks to the team having the lead. This resulted in Vince Williams and Steve McLendon coming off the field in those situations so that two defensive backs could enter the game. table.tableizer-table { border: 1px solid #CCC; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif font-size: 12px; } .tableizer-table td { border: 1px solid #ccc; } .tableizer-table th { padding: 3px; margin: 3px; background-color: #000000; color: #FFF; font-weight: bold; } PLAYER POS OFF % SPEC % R.Foster G 65 100% 5 17% M.Gilbert T 65 100% 5 17% D.DeCastro G 65 100% 5 17% K.Beachum T 65 100% 5 17% F.Velasco C 65 100% 0 0% B.Roethlisberger QB 65 100% 0 0% H.Miller TE 65 100% 0 0% A.Brown WR 64 98% 7 24% L.Bell RB 47 72% 0 0% E.Sanders WR 45 69% 0 0% D.Paulson TE 35 54% 14 48% W.Johnson FB 21 32% 13 45% J.Cotchery WR 17 26% 0 0% F.Jones RB 10 15% 3 10% J.Dwyer RB 8 12% 3 10% M.Palmer TE 6 9% 14 48% D.Moye WR 5 8% 0 0% D.Johnson TE 2 3% 0 0% PLAYER POS DEF % SPEC % I.Taylor CB 58 100% 4 14% R.Clark FS 58 100% 2 7% T.Polamalu SS 58 100% 2 7% L.Timmons LB 58 100% 2 7% L.Woodley LB 58 100% 1 3% W.Gay CB 56 97% 10 34% C.Heyward DE 53 91% 10 34% E.Hood DE 36 62% 2 7% C.Allen CB 35 60% 13 45% J.Jones LB 33 57% 14 48% S.Thomas SS 31 53% 22 76% V.Williams LB 26 45% 12 41% J.Worilds LB 25 43% 13 45% S.McLendon NT 24 41% 7 24% B.Keisel DE 22 38% 1 3% A.Woods DE 6 10% 3 10% C.Brown CB 1 2% 15 52% T.Garvin LB 0 0% 22 76% A.Blake CB 0 0% 17 59% R.Golden FS 0 0% 14 48% W.Allen SS 0 0% 13 45% S.Sylvester LB 0 0% 12 41% Z.Mesko P 0 0% 11 38% S.Suisham K 0 0% 11 38% G.Warren LS 0 0% 11 38% Steelers Offensive And Defensive Snap Counts From Week 6 – Jets is a post from: Steelers Depot
