The Pittsburgh Steelers made a roster move on Sunday as wide receiver David Gilreath was promoted from the practice squad to the 53 man roster and rookie nose tackle Alameda Ta'amu was waived to make room for him.
The Steelers made the move because wide receiver Antonio Brown has been ruled out for the game Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs with an ankle injury that he sustained in the first half of the game last Sunday against the New York Giants.
Had the Steelers not promoted Gilreath they would have only had three wide receivers on the roster.
