teelers doctors are reportedly hopeful, though hardly optimistic, that QB Ben Roethlisberger could return in time for Week 13′s matchup against the Ravens, via ESPN.com.
Theres been a lot of estimates in regards to the amount of time Roethlisberger will miss after he suffered a sprained shoulder and a dislocated rib, but it would definitely be surprising if he was indeed available to play against Baltimore.
Byron Leftwich is a questionable replacement when hes 100 percent healthy, but he too seemed to be dealing with a rib injury of his own. Leftwich told reporters following Sundays game that the injury wasnt that bad, but watching him grimace throughout the game seemed to suggest otherwise. Theres at least a chance that Charlie Batch could get the start in Week 12 when they take on the Browns. Source: NFL Trade Rumors Attached Thumbnails
