The Pittsburgh Steelers continue on Tuesday with their yearly process of signing their own free agents as Bob Labriola reports on Twitter that fullback/tight end David Johnson has been re-signed to a one year contract. The deal is believed to be for the minimum.
Johnson, who was originally drafted by the Steelers in the seventh round of 2009 draft, tore up his knee last year in the preseason opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. He was lost for the season as a result. Johnson was waived/injured in August and reverted back to injured reserve after clearing waivers.
