Bill Parise, the agent for former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison, has been a busy man ever since his client was released on Saturday. James Harrison Could End up in the AFC North in 2013

The Pittsburgh Steelers were forced to cut James Harrison yesterday. Just like last off-season and many before it the Steelers had to make a tough decision in terms of creating cap space. Harrison is nearly 35 and battled with back and knee injuries during the 2012 season. Even so, the Steelers were hoping to keep Harrison around for at least one more year, but the two sides could...

Free agency 2013 is about to get underway at midnight, as teams are allowed to begin visiting with players. Techinically, nobody who is eligible for free agency can be signed until March 12, but there will be a ton of information being passed around over the next several days until ink and paper can meet. Steelers Heavy Use Of The Restricted Free Agency As A Filtering System Ends This Off-season

The Pittsburgh Steelers had six restricted free agents this off-season and they tendered four of them as Emmanuel Sanders, Isaac Redman, Jonathan Dwyer and Steve McLendon were all issued tenders of $1.3 million. Stevenson Sylvester and Jeremy Kapinos were the two players that were not tendered. With those restricted tenders now in the books, it will likely be the last time that...

Steelers Still Have Another Shoe Or Two Left To Drop

It's finally here. The 2013 league year begins at 4:00 p.m. EST today and the last two weeks have been very busy for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who restructured three contracts, issued four restricted tenders, signed cornerback William Gay and guard Ramon Foster to three year deals, and released linebacker James Harrison.
