The Steelers roster cuts have started as the team starts the march towards gettuing down to 53 players from the 80 currently on the roster. The first two names to surface this afternoon are kicker Swayze Waters and linebacker Mortty Ivy. Waters was a long-shot to beat out Shaun Suisham for the kicking job after Suisham was signed to a 4-year deal just a matter of weeks ago. Waters showed a strong leg during camp on both kickoffs and field goals, but missed a 27-yard field goal against the Eagles in the second preseason game.
