Bouchette reports that $3.8 million of the s $4.5 million base salary that Colon was scheduled to earn in 2012 was turned into signing bonus money and will be prorated out over the remaining 4 years left on the contract. Steelers will move Marcus Gilbert to left tackle; preparing for losing Mike Wallace?

It pains me a great deal to even have to put my new theory about what’s going to happen to my Steelers in writing. News broke today via Pro Football Talk on Twitter that the Steelers will be moving second year tackle Marcus Gilbert to left tackle. Coupled with the return of the injured Willie Colon and a healthy Maurkice Pouncey, and suddenly the Steelers abysmal offensive line...

Steelers willing to let Mike Wallace test the market

According to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Steelers are willing to allow wide receiver Mike Wallace test the market. If all a team has to give up is a first round...

Talk heats up in Pittsburgh that Mike Wallace could leave

Ordinarily, when a team has a good young player who becomes a restricted free agent, that team does what it needs to do and keeps that good young player in the fold. But it’s becoming increasingly clear that Steelers receiver Mike Wallace is not in an ordinary situation. Wallace becomes a restricted free agent in…
