It’s been a crazy couple of weeks in the Steelers organization, but this week has been relatively quiet.  But all the guys have been busy.

  • Big Ben has been doing some fishing with former Steeler Merril Hoge.

  • With all the nice weather this week, it looks like James Harrison is thinking about breaking out the motorcycle.

Thinking about pulling out the bike for a minute!!!

  • Emmanuel Sanders had some words of wisdom on his Facebook page complete with proof that he’s working hard already.

If u don’t work, u don’t eat. If u don’t grind, you don’t shine. No ifs ands or buts… Bottom line! Love!

  • Maurkice Pouncey took in his first hockey game on Wednesday when the Pens took on the Maple Leafs.

The game was packed! First hockey game Had a blast wit @BigSamDWtwitter.com/MaurkicePounce…

  •  Facebook has a thing where you can make lists that people can subscribe to and LaMarr Woodley has really gotten into it.  He made a great list of the all the Steelers Facebook pages.  Then there is this one titled NFL Players Who Have Been Suspended for Hard Hits.  Guess how many members that one has!  LOL.
  • Plaxico Burress has been making his rounds and doing his lobbying for his next team.  After the quote below, I wonder if the Steelers are on his list.

“Ben Roethlisberger has always been my favorite quarterback. People can say what they want to about him, but the guy just goes out and wins. He’s been that way since he came to Pittsburgh…it may not be pretty at all times, but the guy wins. I say he’s going to be as close to John Elway as anyone can get.” — Plaxico Burress during an interview today on SiriusXM NFL Radio.

  • Quote of the week goes to Big Ben.  It comes from a great article on Steelers.com about him, the whole thing is worth a read.  And I think we are all hoping that he is just entering his prime.

“I am hoping that I am just starting to get into the prime of my career”

“I think we have the potential on offense to be so good,” said Roethlisberger. “We are young and very talented.”

  • The YouTube today is courtesy of the Pittsburgh Dad who does some really funny stuff.  This one is about the Steelers and is so true:
