Pittsburgh Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert talked to members of the media on Wednesday and he had some pretty strong words as it relates to the 2013 roster. Colbert said during that talk that the organization is not married to any one player on the roster.
"If we don’t change 8-8, if we don’t change the roster that produced 8-8, we'd be silly to expect a better...
While four teams remain in the NFL Playoffs, I’m already interested in where the Pittsburgh Steelers are going in terms of the 2013 season. Last night, my partner-in-crime and I were very excited to be joined by Shane Hallam of www.draftcountdown.com to help us breakdown some possible directions the Steelers might go during the NFL Draft in April. Shane did an excellent job of...
When Pittsburgh Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert spoke with the media on Wednesday he indicated in so many words that he would not rule out the organization drafting a quarterback in the first round of the 2013 NFL.

Pittsburgh Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert talked to members of the Pittsburgh media on Wednesday and below is a summation of what he said based on the tweets sent out by Ed Bouchette and Bob Labriola.

If you need to be brought up to speed on it, I highly suggest you read the full story that Deadspin broke earlier on Wednesday...
Steelers’ general manager Kevin Colbert sounds like a very unhappy man with his team, and he has a plan to change that. Colbert is laying the foundation for the 2013 season by keeping an open mind, and staying with the Steelers way of doing business.
The Steelers have always redesigned their roster before it gets to a point of rebuilding, and keeping with that theme; Colbert...
Steelers GM Kevin Colbert told reporters that it’s “doubtful” that they’ll use their franchise tag on any their free agents this season, according to Ed Bouchette.
“I don’t think we have too many franchise players,” said Colbert of his team.
The assumption is that the general manager is talking about wide receiver Mike Wallace, whose contract is set to expire at the...
The Pittsburgh Steelers entered the 2012 season with
aspirations of at least making the playoffs if not contending for another Super
Bowl. Instead, the team finished a disappointing 8-8, missing out on a playoff
appearance. Yesterday, general manager Kevin Colbert indicated the significant
changes could be coming in Pittsburgh.
Colbert told reporters, including Bob Labriola of...
I’ve decided as my first series of articles for SteelersAddicts.com, I will review the season that just was, focusing on a particular position or set of positions. This week, I will look at the quarterback position.
First, a little about me. I’m originally from Butler, PA, and one of my first memories in sports is the Steelers winning Super Bowl XIII, their third, making them...
