Rolle, a Rhodes Scholar, was originally drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft, but was released prior to the start of the season. Rolle sat out the 2009 college football season to study at Oxford, but did play in the 2010 Senior Bowl and was invited to the 2010 Scouting Combine. He reportedly ran a 4.59-second 40-yard dash and bench pressed 225 pounds 21 times. In his three seasons at Florida State, Rolle played in 38 games and made 35 starts at strong safety.
