The Pittsburgh Steelers look to get their fifth win of the season when they take on the New York Giants Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium. Below are 7 things to watch for specifically in this game along with my prediction at the end of it. In case you missed it, here is the Wednesday podcast preview of the game that features a great interview with Giants beat writer Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN New York.
Captain Obvious Stat - I hate to start this preview off with one of the most obvious statements known to pre game breakdowns, but the Steelers simply can't turnover the football in this game. Sure, Read more [...]

THE WALKING DEAD
Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward will have a cameo role this season in the hit AMC show, "The Walking Dead." Ward will play a zombie of course and the 7 minute video below has all of the details. The 36-year old Ward, who is now an NFL analyst for NBC Sports, had over 12,000 receiving yards in his career for Steelers and has never been shy when a camera...
While I was not a fan of Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown backpedaling 20-yards into the end zone on the punt return last week against the Washington Redskins, I think him being fined $10,000 is way too harsh.
To put that in perspective, the Baltimore Ravens were fined $20,000 by the NFL this past week for previously not listing free safety Ed Reed on the injury...
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin met the media for his post game press conference following the 24-20 win Sunday over the New York Giants.
Tomlin talked about the adversity that the team faced today and also about the penalties and injuries suffered in the game as well. Tomlin also answered questions regarding the fake field goal that called that failed.
Below is the audio...
The New York Giants will be relatively healthy this Sunday as they prepare to take the field against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although the Steelers have yet to release their final injury report, the Giants look to be in good shape this weekend, save for a few injuries to the linebacker core.
Without further delay, here is Big Blue's final injury report of the week.
The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New York Giants 24-20 Sunday at MetLife Stadium and below are my first half notes from the game with the second half notes to follow soon.
Keenan Lewis got his night off to a good start by knocking away a deep pass intended for Hakeem Nicks on the first play of the game for the Giants. Lewis had given up inside position on the route, but made it...

Jonathan Dwyer (quad) was limited in practice Thursday and did not practice Friday. He’s listed as doubtful.
Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) is listed as doubtful.
The starting running back will most likely be Isaac Redman (ankle). He practiced...
Below are the week 9 official gamebook offensive and defensive snap counts from the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-20 win over the New York Giants Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
The Steelers starting five linemen made the whole game for yet another game, so you have to be excited about that.
Cornerback Curtis Brown saw no defensive snaps in the game as the Steelers failed to use the dime...
With the Friday injury report now out for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and no Saturday roster moves expected, we can now look at the projected inactive list for the Sunday game against the New York Giants.
3 of the 7 names on the list this week will be inactive this week because those players have been ruled out for the game due to injuries and 2 more on the list were listed as doubtful...

Superstorm Sandy caused a lot of damage in New York and New Jersey last week, leaving many residents without power and causing the cancellation of the New York City Marathon. That, however, would not stop 80,000+ fans from packing MetLife Stadium on Sunday to cheer on their beloved Giants. There is no shortage of spirit in New York City, often using a sporting event to uplift their...
Once again, the Pittsburgh Steelers' Brett Keisel carried the torch for former Brigham Young Cougars in the NFL this weekend. Dennis Pitta had a few good plays as the Baltimore Ravens were back in action. Next weekend is a former Cougars face-off weekend. Four of the six former Cougars will play in two games as their teams go head-to-head: Ravens-Raiders, Steelers-Chiefs. Note...

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the New York Giants have activated tight end Travis Beckum from the PUP list and have waived guard Mitch Petrus.
Beckum tore his ACL during last year’s Super Bowl win over the Patriots and was...
In wake of Hurricane Sandy, the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New York Giants, 24-20, in an inspiring game for both sides. Click for the game story.
I know most Giants fans are dealing with bigger issues than football right now, but there is still a good BC story going on at the Meadowlands today. Mark Herzlich will start for the first time this season and the third time of his career. Herzlich has been limited to mostly special teams this year, so this is a chance for him to breakout and earn more playing time. Let's hope...
