Brown didn’t need too many touches to make a difference. Along with the 57-yard touchdown catch, that featured numerous moves and twists and turns, he finished with two receptions and 75 yards. He was targeted six times.
Perennial backup Charlie Batch came in and completed 7-of-10 passes for 84 yards, though he was sacked twice. Then, Jerrod Johnson came in and was 4-of-5 for 65 yards.
Pittsburgh’s running backs totaled 36 carries for 146 yards, led by Jonathan Dwyer and Jason Ford.
