Right now the NFL odds board lists Pittsburgh as a six-point favorite, even though they were beaten pretty bad by the Broncos and the Jets looked dominant against the Buffalo Bills.
Still, people realize the Steelers aren’t going to lose too many games, especially at home. This line seems fair in that respect.
In Week 1, Pittsburgh’s offense did an overall solid job of moving the ball and eating up the clock, but the defense had trouble dealing with Peyton Manning and the no huddle offense that Denver ran.
Ben Roethlisberger finished 22-of-40 for 245 yards and two touchdowns, but he threw an interception late in the game and was sacked five times. His final QB rating was 79.7.
