The Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Dallas Cowboys 27-24 in overtime on Sunday to drop their record to 7-7 on the season. Below are the players that I thought had winning and losing performances in the game. Feel free to add your own in the comments. Winners: Heath Miller - It is too bad that the Steelers couldn't have gotten the ball to Miller 10 more times in the game as the tight end would have likely caught every one of them. Miller was one of the few bright spots for the Steelers with his 7 catches good for 92 yards that included a 30 yard touchdown reception that tied the game at 10 Read more [...]

Some of you may have read that title and asked yourself: who? That’s exactly the problem the Steelers are facing heading into Sunday’s game. Pittsburgh Steelers Won’t Last Long in 2012 NFL Playoffs If They Get There

The Pittsburgh Steelers are like a guy who eats at Primanti Bros. every day but doesn’t gain weight. Despite losing four of their last five games, including Sunday’s 27-24 overtime defeat in Dallas, the Steelers (7-7) still will be in excellent shape for a playoff berth if they beat the Bengals and Browns in their final two games. With those last two games at home, it wouldn’t...

Giants Blown Out by Falcons – Open Door for Cowboys

Yes, it is already the fifteenth week of the NFL season and it is one of those years where fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to be sweating it out until the final snap. The playoffs are far from a sure thing and currently, they actually find themselves temporarily on the outside looking in after the Bengals’ throttling of the Eagles on Thursday night. Friends, family, teammates and members of the community filled a church to say goodbye to former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Jerry Brown Jr. He was remembered Saturday morning for his religious beliefs, sense of humor, physical presence and his lifelong desire to play in the NFL. December in Dallas: Romo and the Cowboys should be able to knock off the Steelers and keep their playoff hopes alive

Each week we pick a matchup where public opinion backs the wrong side of the ledger. This week, I’m picking the Cowboys for two reasons: Dez Bryant and Tony Romo. The duo have been unstoppable of late and while Pittsburgh boasts a strong pass defense and Bryant is dealing with a significant injury to his finger I think that the quarterback and receiver will continue to play at...

Late-season surge has Cowboys in control of fate

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones can't help but think about the New York Giants going from 7-7 to a Super Bowl title last season. Maybe Jones was a little giddy after the Cowboys beat Pittsburgh 27-24 in overtime Sunday for their third straight win. Dallas is tied for first in the NFC East after winning three straight games and five of six. For the first time in weeks, the...
