In the wake of Pittsburgh Steelers fans collective gasp after Ben Roethlisberger left with an unknown shoulder injury in the 3rd quarter against the Kansas City Chiefs, there will be a lot of pressure on both sides of the ball to compensate for No. 7’s absence going into the latter half of the season. Arguably having an MVP-quality season before the injury, Roethlisberger’s stellar play covers many of the team’s deficiencies, and while the extent of his injury is still speculation, there is no doubt that this is the time when others must step up and help shoulder the load.
