Found June 05, 2013 on Pro Football Zone:
According to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, Patriots running back Stevan Ridley was looking pretty good running around at an NFL Play 60 event just a day after suffering what appeared to be a hamstring injury. Patriots running back Stevan Ridley didn’t finish yesterday’s OTA practice after catching a pass and pulling up with a right hamstring injury that required medical attention, but that’s behind him.   Ridley was running around with the kids at today’s Play 60 event at the Roger Clap Innovation School in Dorchester, and the third-year back showed no signs of the ailment. Of course, a source said yesterday that Ridley and tight end Jake Ballard (left ankle) were fine after failing to finish practice. (Still nothing on Alfonzo Dennard’s left shoulder at this point, though.)   Ridley was asked about the injury today and dodged the question. But as a follow-up, he was asked if his body was in good condition, and he replied, “Absolutely, perfect.” Need NFL Tickets? The post Ste...

A report recently came out that claimed that Patriots head coach Bill Belichick hates free agent quarterback Tim Tebow. Belichick told Field Yates of that he doesn’t hate the Jets former quarterback. “I wouldn’t get into the probability of us pursuing any free agent. Tom Brady has a new hairstyle…again

Hard hitting stuff right here. It’s spiky…real spiky. I bet Gisele put him up to this. As long as he stays away from frosted tips, I’m okay with it.

Devin McCourty Not Frustrated Despite Watching Practice From Sidelines While Recovering From Shoulder Surgery

There’s been a notable absence out on the practice field during the Patriots’ OTAs — Devin McCourty. The leader of the secondary underwent shoulder surgery over the offseason and has been watching his teammates — old and new — from the sidelines. McCourty stayed away from any words like “frustrating” when describing what it’s like to stand off to the side while the...

Patriots Receiving Core an Open Competition?

Today, Josh McDaniels was asked about his offense and how hard it was to deal with a completely new receiving core. McDaniels said: "We have to take the same approach. We have to go back and establish a foundation. We have to teach them what we believe in and what our system is all about. And that happened back in 2007, but it happened in '06” -- “it happened in subsequent...

Patriots’ Linebackers, Defensive Linemen Have Versatility to Run 4-3, 3-4, Hybrid Base Defense

Much has been made about the defensive versatility the Patriots possess in their front seven this season. It’s apparent that Bill Belichick loves to have some leniency with his players up front. He’s praised Dont’a Hightower, Rob Ninkovich and Jamie Collins for their positional versatility, which allows him to put the best 11 players on the field even if those players aren’t...

Patriots’ Passing Game, Offense Overall Can Only Benefit from Brian Daboll’s Place on Coaching Staff

FOXBORO, Mass. — Josh McDaniels doesn’t seem to need any help running the Patriots’ offense, but he is open to a fresh perspective, especially when it comes from an old friend and well-respected offensive mind like Brian Daboll. Daboll, 38, who was an assistant coach in New England from 2000 to 2006, returned to the Patriots’ coaching staff last postseason in something of...
