Running back Steven Jackson signed with the Atlanta Falcons this offseason after spending nine years with the St. Louis Rams. After being a focal point of the offense for so many years, Jackson says he is ready to get less, but higher quality carries. Per ProFootballTalk.com, Jackson says he is ready to close out games. This offense has so many weapons that I’m going to get quality carries,” Jackson said. “I’m going to have opportunities — they may not be 25 carries a game, but they’re going to be quality carries that allow me to close out a game. Jackson is a dual threat at running back also being a capable pass catcher. Jackson will provide an immediate upgrade over last years starter, Michael Turner. Need NFL Tickets?
