New York Giants DB Stevie Brown has opted to stay with the New York Giants for another year, signing his restricted free agent tender rather than looking for a deal that the Giants would've had to match. Brown took to Twitter to announce his return and also share an image of the contract he signed (albeit upside down)... signed, sealed, & delivered; comin back the #Giants chasing Championships Lets Go Big #BLUENATION twitter.com/scbr3/status/3… — Stevie Brown (@scbr3) March 19, 2013                   Per Pro Football Talk                  : 'Brown was given a second-round tender by the Giants that will pay him $2.02 million this season. If another team had signed Brown to an offer sheet, the Giants would have had the opportunity to match the deal. If they chose not to, they would have received a second round pick from the team in compensation. Brown appeared in all 16 games, with 11 starts, for New York last season. Brown racked up 76 tackles, two forced fumbles and eight interceptions for the Giants last season. His eight picks were tied with Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks for second most in the league with only Tim Jennings of the Chicago Bears having more with nine.' var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
