I know that ESPN First Take is just a glorified PR machine in which stars will only come on to promote something, but I thoroughly enjoyed Michael Strahan on the show this morning. Strahan was on to promote some sort of lotion product he's shooting commercials so he had to tell Jay Crawford that he was "ashy"....
It's definitely early on, but I think Michael Strahan is going to be what Tiki Barber couldn't be in his first year out of the game. Tiki wasted no time in bashing old teammates but the conversations seemed too forced, unbelievable and a PR move for NBC. Strahan's honesty is certainly going to help him and if he sticks with his current plan, I think it'll end up being a great hire by FOX. We shall see though.
