Though the schedule has not been released yet, the Raiders are ranked as the ninth hardest opponents for the 2024 season.

Strength of schedule is determined by the winning percentage of each opponent in the previous season. There is no telling as to how each team will perform in the following year.
Every team in the AFC West will be competing against each other along with the AFC North and NFC South. This automatically will include 2023 playoff teams like the Ravens, Buccaneers, and Browns.
Having the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs as an opponent will be a challenge for every team in the division. For the Raiders, they have competed against them, but have lost at least once to them for the past decade.
Denver Broncos is another opponent for the Raiders who did not have a successful season in 2023, but drafted both Bo Nix and Troy Franklin for the future. However, Denver has not defeated Las Vegas since 2019 when the Raiders were still in Oakland.
The Los Angeles Chargers are one of the Raiders’ rivals and have a promising quarterback in Justin Herbert. Their offseason was mostly filled with departures as they lost their receiving tandem in both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.
When the official schedule is released on Wednesday, it will be easier to depict how difficult the schedule truly is. For now, the Raiders are projected to have the hardest schedule in the AFC West despite finishing in second in 2023.
