The Denver Broncos have been informed there is a “strong chance” they’ll open their season on Sunday Night Football, Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports.
“Our fans should get ready for more night games,” Broncos president Joe Ellis said. “Home and road.”

Our top five candidates, rated in the standard measure of NFL appeal and awesomeness (Manning Mustaches), after the jump.
5. Denver Broncos vs. New Orleans Saints
Why it belongs in primetime: Drew Brees vs. Peyton Manning will always be a big seller, especially since the two faced off in the Super Bowl not long ago. Both teams were division champions who advanced in the playoffs, and a cross-conference games are always interesting for their rarity.
Fit for season opener? There was once a much stronger chance that this game would be highlighted for a season opening slot, but that was before BountyGate, something we...

It’s no secret that quarterback Peyton Manning makes everyone around him better, just look at how the Colts fared without him in 2011. With Manning now under center in Denver, his new teammates, especially the receivers and tight ends, are primed to have potent seasons.
Among the players expected to benefit from Manning’s presence...

Peyton Manning will once again don orange on the football field, but it won’t be the first time he’s been clad in carrot. He was once a Tennessee Volunteer, after all.
More to the point, he was once a freshman.
Check out this archived article from The Tennesseean, written during Manning’s freshman year with the Vols. It portrays Manning...
Contrary to popular belief, replacing Tim Tebow with Peyton Manning will not give John Elway another Super Bowl ring. In fact, the Denver Broncos will not even challenge for the Super Bowl next year.
The day after Peyton Manning signed with Denver, the Broncos Super Bowl odds improved from 50-1 to 10-1. I wonder if the odds-makers would reconsider after reading this...
Let the gyrations begin. Peyton Manning, whose prowess as quarterback for the Colts included him adjusting the offense from the line of scrimmage and going no-huddle almost exclusively, will be given free rein while leading the Broncos, coach John Fox said at a media breakfast during the owners meetings in Florida on Tuesday. An overhaul for the Denver offense shouldn't be too...

According to the report, the Broncos have been notified there's a "strong chance" that they'll be in prime time to open the season. It's also likely that Manning and Co. will open against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Broncos have...
The dust has settled and Peyton Manning is a Denver Bronco. The Cardinals are ready to move forward with Kevin Kolb and John Skelton, but will losing out on Manning haunt Arizona?
Denver Broncos Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway was interviewed by ESPN’s Adam Schefter to talk Peyton Manning and Tim Tebow in this latest video.
Peyton Manning a Bronco, Tim Tebow a Jet and Mario Williams a Bill? What a crazy start to free agency.
"Team spirit" is infectious.
We love it. That is one of the reasons we enjoy football so much. There are few things more enjoyable than watching a calm, mild-mannered individual reduced to a quivering pile of fury at what he perceives to be a blown call. Or consider the chills that run down the spine when a group of complete strangers sees that unexpected turnover and...
Lately it seems everyone wants to sing about their favorite players. Here’s a song about Peyton Manning from a Colts fan written to the tune Keep on Rockin in the Free World. Not an original but a good cover none the less. -TO

While NFL talking heads have been balls deep in the Peyton Manning hysteria over the past few weeks, there have been many other personnel moves made that could help some teams out once 2012 comes around. Draft weekend needs are becoming a little more clear for each club as their roster rounds into shape. Here are a few signings that you may have missed while engulfing yourself in...
Rick’s Cabaret is notorious for being one of the the top gentlemen’s clubs in New York. Tim Tebow is notorious for being one of the most devoutly religious athletes in professional sports. With Tebow arriving in New York, it was only a matter of time before these two beings would collide somehow. And now they are: Rick’s is offering the most overhyped back-up quarterback ever...
Good morning! My name is Tim Lynch. Many of you may know me from the many years I spent at Mile High Report, but I am now part of the BroncoTalk crew. I’ll try to bring some Broncos wholesomeness your way intermittently, but in the meantime I will be sporting the Daily Links here. Don’t be surprised if there is a similarity to MHR’s Horse Tracks in the format as I...
They say March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb. If you’ve been following the Arizona Cardinals’ free agency endeavors, this saying has hit home a little too close.
As detailed last week, the Cardinals entered the month of March and the free agency period excited about the prospects of adding former Indianapolis Colts QB and future Hall-of-Famer Peyton Manning...
