For so many hours, we’ve spent wondering when the Patriots would have a pass rush. In fact, that’s been a storyline over the past three seasons. And now? Well, it’s here. That was evident when DE Andre Carter, the 32-year-old veteran, turned in a career performance with 4.5 sacks against the Jets, doing so with plenty of help from his friends. That was the topic of my weekly feature, Subject to Review. I examined Carter’s effectiveness and looked at how the Patriots got after Mark Sanchez. Thanks to a new four-man front with Carter and Mark Anderson at ends and Vince Wilfork and Brandon Deaderick inside help. So did Carter beating star LT D’Brickashaw Ferguson at least twice one-on-one. So did Carter’s hand-fighting ability and some team work. Carter drew the praise. “I think Andre has a good combination of speed and power and technique that he uses, he uses all those,” coach Bill Belichick said. “He can bring power, he can bring speed and he can use technique in terms of getting the blocker’s
