Pro Bowl outside linebacker Terrell Suggs practiced with the team and might play Thursday night in the final preseason game on the road against the Atlanta Falcons.
Suggs practiced the first three days after training camp begin in late July, and hasn't practiced since because of a strained Achilles' heel.
The Ravens are happy to have Suggs back on the field because there was speculation he might not be ready for the regular-season opener against Kansas City.
As long as he doesn't have a recurrence, the Ravens expect Suggs to be ready for the Chiefs. Suggs has been one of the top pass rushers in the league during the past couple of seasons.
• Running back Ray Rice, in his second year, has been able to hold onto his starting spot over veteran Willis McGahee.
