New York Jets
Air It OutOnly 6 QBs threw for at least 300 yards and what may only happen one time this season, Ben Roethlisberger led the NFL in passing Week 3 with 406 yards! Brian Hoyer was on that list of QBs who tossed 300+ yards. Robert Griffin III and Hoyer were the only QBs to complete 30+ passes and both attempted at least 50Russell Wilson tossed 4 touchdowns and like Philip Rivers in Week 1, had to complete just 14 passes!Ground and Pound5 running backs rushed for at least 100 yards, led by DeMarco Murray's 175 yardsBilal Powell led all backs with 27 carries, thanks to a Chris Ivory injury. Powell gained 149 yards but failed to score a TD9 different RBs got at least 20 carriesChristian Ponder was the only player to rush for 2 TDsStretch the Field8 wide receivers gained 100+ yards as did TE Jimmy GrahamIn his season debut, with Brian Hoyer under center, Josh Gordon was the only receiver to haul in 10 receptions. Antonio Brown, Julio Jones and Graham each had 9The Browns shocked the Vikings after trading Trent Richardson and sitting Brandon Weeden as Jordan Cameron caught 3 touchdowns!Santonio Holmes caught 5 passes and averaged over 30 yards per reception!Who Are You?Jonathan Franklin made a name for himself with 103 rushing yards on 13 carries and a rushing TD. Franklin finished the game after last weeks craze James Starks left the game with an injuryLast season, the Seattle Seahawks rarely, if ever, looked at their TE as a passing option. In yesterday's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Luke Wilson caught 5 passes for 76 yards and Zack Miller caught 2 TDs!Brian Hoyer made his season debut and threw 3 TDs and 3 INTs. He QBd the same team that scored just 16 points over the first 2 weeks. While they did gain Josh Gordon this week, they lost Trent Richardson, which to me would be a bigger loss then gain, but obviously not for the Browns! They rushed for 103 yards on just 17 carries. These limited carries were split between Bobby Rainey, Willis McGahee, Chris Obgonnaya, Hoyer, Gordon and Josh Aubrey. And yes, somehow this team beat the Minnesota Vikings.
BEST OF MAXIM
Brian Hoyer overcame three interceptions and directed a sensational two-minute drive Sunday as the Browns defeated the Vikings 31-27 at Mall of America Field.
In his second career start Hoyer won his first NFL game in thrilling fashion throwing a 7-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Cameron with 51 seconds remaining.
It marked coach Rob Chudzinski's first career win as the Browns...
Brian Hoyer overcame three interceptions to lead the Browns to victory Sunday in his first start of the 2013 season.Fantasy Spin:He tossed three touchdown passes, all to tight end Jordan Cameron. The 321 yards Hoyer racked up through the air were a career-high. It seems likely that he'll start again next week, regardless of whether or not Brandon Weeden is able to play.
Wow Ben Roethlisberger has some nerve.
I can remember Steelers center Alan Faneca once publicly questioning if a rookie quarterback named BenRoethlisberger was the guy to lead the Steelers.
Two Super Bowl appearances later, I think Roethlisberger has proven that he can play. So it was a bit shocking that Big Ben would publicly blast a rookie and question his effort and his skills...
The Pittsburgh Steelers are a mess, but mostly on offense and that’s why they must fire Todd Haley. Now I will admit I’ve never liked Todd Haley as an offensive coordinator or a head coach, and I don’t take much satisfaction in calling for any person to lose their job, but this is a business.
And so far Todd Haley has taken what Bruce Arians’ left and turned it into one...
The Cleveland Browns stunned most observers by putting up 24 points against the Minnesota Vikings on the road in the first half of their Week 3 game on Sunday. Not only did the Browns get two touchdown passes from Brian Hoyer, but they also got in a surprise fake field goal that resulted in a […]
The Pittsburgh Steelers are off to their worst start since 2002. Coach Mike Tomlin expects his team to be focused on getting themselves out of their current 0-3 hole. “I’m not going to encourage them to,” Tomlin said
The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Chicago Bears Sunday night and below are my fantasy football stat projections for the black and gold offensive players.
Feel free to add your own projections in the comments below.
Ben Roethlisberger - 30 attempts, 21 completions, 253 yards, 2 touchdowns, 0 interceptions.
The Steelers offense needs to stay out of third and long situations...
This Is For Washington Fan
10) Brian Hoyer, with just a small assist from Josh Gordon, ended the Brandon Weeden Era9) Looking on the bright side, the Giants ran 10 plays in the first half that gained yards, weren't sacked on 76% of their snaps, and the game wasn't totally out of reach until the second half9) Dallas out-gained the Rams by 292-18 in the first half, so, um...

Season Record 6-4
Cleveland +6.5 at Minnesota
Minnesota is by no means at the top of the NFL schedule, but they aren’t at the bottom either. With the latest trade of Trent Richardson, the Brown’s have made it clear that they are willing to give up on Brandon Weeden, and the 2013 season entirely. Tanking this season wouldn’t be a terrible idea since...
After last week's trade of Trent Richardson to the Colts, many football pundits and fans thought for sure the Browns were all in for a top pick in the 2013 NFL draft. Then they went out and did the must un-Browns thing they could have ever done. They won. They freaking won.And now the Browns coaching staff sounds like their backpedaling on success. Allow me to channel my inner...

The slow start to the season for the Pittsburgh Steelers dragged to a crawl early on in the first half of their third game against the Chicago Bears as they quickly fell behind 17-0, and then 24-3. However, a 33-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Brown helped spark some life into the lethargic Steelers, who finished the second quarter down two touchdowns and looking...
