Their defense also will come back stronger with a better bill of health. The first-year experience of not quite winning it all should make Jim Caldwell a better head coach. Looking at teams around the league, including New Orleans, Indianapolis has the fewest personnel concerns going into next season, and that gives it the greatest chance to be the best.
