Nothing will be as bad for me as the Yankees-Phillies World Series in 2009, but I've been avoiding dealing with this Super Bowl as much as possible. And it's not because I can't stomach the thought of either team's fans celebrating and laughing at the Jets. It's because those other teams and their fans have good reason to lord it over Gang Green. After three years of Rex Ryan guaranteeing that a Super Bowl team would come out of the Meadowlands, he turns out to be right, except that it's not his team. But Ryan's big mouth isn't the worst thing about a potential Giants title. It's the Jets staff's classless covering up the Giants' Super Bowl logos outside their locker room with black curtains before their December game.Hard to believe that just a few months ago, the Jets seemed to be the local team on the rise. Everyone wanted to play for Ryan, while Tom Coughlin's job looked to be in jeopardy. Jets' GM Mike Tannenbaum was the aggre...

While doing press in Indianapolis, New York Jets owner Woody Johnson reiterated his seemingly blinding support for head coach Rex Ryan, even though it seems that Rex may not know the right path for the Jets to take. Woody believes that this disastrous past season can serve as a cautionary tale for Rex, who he described as “so good as a manager. He’ll take these experiences and...
INDIANAPOLIS â Heâs no Dave Letterman, but Rex Ryan is making his own list.
New York Jets coach Rex Ryan said Saturday he will take a more active role in running the team's defense next season, though he was vague about who will call the plays.
Jets coach Rex Ryan admitted Friday that seeing two of his biggest rivals meet in the Super Bowl has been tough on him.
Someone forgot to tell this blonde girl that Rex Ryan’s predictions are generally incorrect.
So tell me Giants fans, would you still bang her despite her lack of respect or knowledge of the Big Blue nation?
Can’t wait to see this chick at the Yankees championship parade with her David Wright jersey on.
Rex Ryan is in town this week, but not for the reason he guaranteed. As the Giants and Patriots prepare to play in Super Bowl XLVI, the Jets coach has been brainstorming ways to improve on this season's disappointing 8-8 finish. Ryan said he will be a more hands-on coach in 2012, particularly with the defense. He said he's spoken with defensive coordinator Mike Pettine about...
Jets coach Rex Ryan famously promised that his team would win the Super Bowl this season. Before watching the Giants and Patriots face off for the title, Ryan told NFL Network that he's done making such bold predictions.
INDIANAPOLIS — Jets coach Rex Ryan does not plan on just becoming more involved with the offense. He also wants to take a larger role with the defense. Ryan, appearing last night at the inaugural NFL Honors, spoke about personal changes he plans on making this year. “I’ve never been...
As difficult as the winter months were for the Jets, enduring their own crash and locker room dramas, as the hated Patriots and “Big Brother” Giants just rolled along, Gang Green should ditch any small minded “G Men” envy, and get out the notepads instead. Rex Ryan said that he reviewed his own performance with a pen and paper this past week while vacationing in Hawaii....
Considering my track record on predictions this year, I am glad this will be my final one for awhile.
The Super Bowl? I started the two weeks ago firmly behind the notion of rooting for the Giants. Now after two weeks of listening to them run their mouths and predict parades and victories, while getting in plenty of cheap shots at the Jets…it hasn’t been quite so easy.
The rebuilding of the relationship between Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and wide receiver Santonio Holmes may begin with a weekend retreat.
Jets coach Rex Ryan said late Friday he has spoken with both players and Holmes told him he would like to get away for a weekend with Sanchez as the two try to fix their chemistry.
"It seemed like that was what Santonio was talking about...
INDIANAPOLIS -- He's no David Letterman, but Rex Ryan is making his own list. Except his isn't of the Top 10 variety. Ryan has jotted down several things he believes he needs to get better at in 2012. At the top of that list, he said, is being more of a hands-on coach, not delegating so many responsibilities to his staff.
According to Jets coach Rex Ryan, wide receiver Santonio Holmes has a first step in mind to improve his strained relationship with quarterback Mark Sanchez. Ryan told the New York Post that Holmes has suggested the two go on a weekend retreat to begin the process of improving their chemistry. "It seemed like that was what Santonio was talking about," Ryan said from Indianapolis...
I hate parades because they are a waste of money, but I do love a girl making a fool of herself on television. Who is Eli Manning in New York? Where is (Mark) Sanchez? This girl must be related to Rex Ryan or getting her feet sucked by him every once and a while.[Follow me @TravisHouser]
On Friday, coach Rex Ryan told the New York Post that oft-criticized receiver Santonio Holmes wants to spend a weekend away with quarterback Mark Sanchez to improve their relationship.
