Found November 15, 2013 on The Fake Football:
The quarterback carousel continues to spin in the NFL. Out is Jay Cutler (again), Jake Locker (again), Seneca Wallace, and possibly Terrelle Pryor. Enter Josh McCown, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Scott Tolzien, and Matt McGloin. McCown as of now is the only player worth starting (maybe Tolzien if you’re desperate), and even his matchup this week will be tough against the Ravens. Nick Foles should continue his torrid play against a generous Redskins defense, he’s locked in as a high end QB2. Falling is Eli Manning, who failed to take advantage of a Raiders team that gave up seven touchdown passes to Foles the week prior. Speaking of Eli Manning, last weeks picks of Manning and Ben Roethlisberger left egg on the faces of both @AnthonyOlivetti and myself. They both had a touchdown to pair with an interception, but Big Ben barely eclipsed 200 yards, and Manning didn’t even hit that mark. At this point, Manning can’t even take advantage of easy matchups, and remains a low end QB2. The only reason h...

Case Keenum Takes a Licking But Keeps on Ticking

Fan of the Houston Texans were given quite a scare during the first half of the game with the Raiders Sunday. Not only did the Raiders get out to an early 14-0 lead, but they momentarily were faced with the possibility of Matt "Pick 6" Schaub having to come back in the game.@SBNationGIF/TwitterKeenum got hit hard on an early sack, and looked like he might be hurting just...

Texans bench Case Keenum, insert Matt Schaub

Although Case Keenum has been surprisingly good so far this year in taking over the Texans starting quarterback job, Gary Kubiak gave us some insight into his mind this week when he said that Keenum "has to continue to play well to stay in there" because Matt Schaub was "playing really hard." Thus, on Sunday, with Houston down by 11 points late in the third quarter...

Gary Kubiak Did It--he Pulled Case Keenum for Matt Schaub

Houston Texans fans were given cause to worry earlier in the week when Gary Kubiak refused to commit to Case Keenum the rest of the way, instead taking the time to compliment Matt Schaub on his work ethic and desire to get back on the field. He said that Keenum would have to keep playing well in order to stay in the game.I guess what he meant to say is that the defense would have...

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly: Arizona Edition

The Texans fell to 2-7 on Sunday, losing 27-24 to the Arizona Cardinals. This is the Texans’ 7th consecutive loss and they are now only one game ahead of the teams with the worst record in the league. 2013 Fantasy Football: Gold Mine Week 11 – Manuel, Stewart, Holmes, Housler

HURRY! Time is running out!! With only four weeks left in most fantasy leagues, the walls are going to close pretty quickly on your season if they haven’t already. The great news for most (specifically in the leagues I am in) the level of talent league wide has been pretty identical and rarely have I seen a team purely dominate the ranks. PS: I am in 12 leagues and of the 12 only...
