Matt Ryan will find himself in a similar situation when the Falcons face the Giants at 1 p.m. on Sunday in the wild-card round of the NFC playoffs at MetLife Stadium. Ryan is set to make his third playoff appearance. They Falcons were eliminated in their first game after the 2008 season and last season by the Green Bay Packers.
