TEAMS: New York Jets, New York Giants
Well, here it is. The date has been circled on the calendar since the schedule was released, and now the two teams get ready to play the game. Without further ado, here is the analysis.
Offense: Statistically, Eli is a better QB than Mark Sanchez, especially in the fourth quarter. In fact, the only time Sanchez and Manning are statistically even is whe the game is tied. Quite simply, Manning needs to play well, and be able to account for the blitzes and disguised defenses that Rex Ryan will throw at him. The Eagles didn’t seem to have any problems last week, but this game is different. The Jets may have been looking ahead. With Jim Leonhard out, the Jets defense in the middle of the field has been suspect. If the G-Men had a healthy tight end, this would be an advantage that they could exploit. If Travis Beckum is healthy, this may help. The Giants wide receivers are good. Both Cruz and Nicks have the chance to beet Amani Toomer’s yardage record. The might have done it al...

Sanchez ‘sore,’ but practices
Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez practiced fully yesterday, two days after suffering a neck injury against the Eagles. Sanchez downplayed the injury, but admitted it is “similar” to one he suffered last month against the Broncos. Sanchez was listed on the injury report that week, meaning he received treatment. The Jets...
Coal In The Stocking: Jets Lose 29-14
Merry Christmas Jets fans! Your team gave you the gift of inexplicably trying to throw 59 times. 59! En route to an embarrassing 29-14 loss. I am putting this loss squarely on the shoulders of the Jets offense, notably Brian Schottenheimer who called an awful game and Mark Sanchez who came up small in a big spot.
I defend Sanchez as much as anybody but he looked skittish all day...
Eagles Eliminated From Playoffs After Giants Win Over Jets
The Eagles and Jets both felt the pain of having their playoffs resting on Mark Sanchez today as the Giants beat the Jets 29-14 today at Met Life Stadium. Sanchez threw two picks, fumbled three times (two were overturned) and was sacked for a safety but in the end, it's not Mark Sanchez's fault that the Eagles will be sitting home in January this year. They only have themselves...
Sanchez can't deliver as Jets fall to Giants 29-14
The New York Jets put their playoff hopes in Mark Sanchez's hands against the Giants' porous pass defense.
Report: Mark Sanchez Paying Frequent Late-Night Visits to Kate Upton's Apartment
Mark Sanchez doesn't have a Super Bowl ring or a Pro Bowl appearance to his credit, but when it comes to high-profile women, his resume is second to none. There's now speculation that the third-year quarterback could be dating Victoria's Secret and Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton, according to the New York Post. Sanchez has reportedly been paying frequent late-night...
No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No
The New York Jets are currently clinging to the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoff hunt, and as much as it pains most people to admit – *points to self* – quarterback Mark Sanchez has been pretty good. And he needs to be playing well since both he and his coach, Rex Ryan, claimed that the Jets would win the Super Bowl this season.
But screw the stupid Super Bowl and cancel...
Is Mark Sanchez Dating Kate Upton Question Mark?
The New York Post‘s Page 6 dropped a gossipy bomb for the ages early Wednesday morning when they reported that blonde bombshell (and apparent avid Jets fan) Kate Upton might be dating New York Jets bomb-thrower (that’s a whole lotta bomb references there, for some reason) Mark Sanchez. Commence intense pangs of bitter jealousy now. [...]
Eagles Playoff Chances Officially Dead With Jets Loss
Well, I guess that’s it folks. The Eagles season is over. Anytime your fate rests in the hands of Mark Sanchez, you may as well pack it in anyway. I’m saying this out of frustration obviously, as the Eagles really have no one to blame but themselves.
The worst part is, the Eagles defense was finally starting to play together. At the time of this article, the Eagles rank...
