Last week: 24 The Buccaneers kept it close at home with the Saints, but it took a Drew Brees pick six and a very strong defensive performance to do so. Josh Freeman once again contributed nothing positive, completing 9 of 22 for 125 yards, 1 touchdown, and an interception. He’s now completed 131 of 262 (50.0%) for 1639 yards (6.3 YPA), 8 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in his last 7 games, dating back to last season and with all the negative reports about him and his relationship with his Head Coach and teammate, it seems highly unlikely he lasts the season as the starter and is retained this off-season as a free agent. This week, the Buccaneers have another tough test in New England, likely without the suspended Dashon Goldson and look on their way to wasting what’s otherwise a talented roster. FOXBORO, Mass. — Sunday won’t be easy for the home team. Or maybe it will be. That really all depends on the signal caller on the opposing team. Josh Freeman has been an enigma through his first five years in the NFL. He had a rough rookie season, an impressive second year, a tough 2011, a promising fourth season and he has the beginnings of another struggle in 2013. After 2010...

Darren Sproles: Dashon Goldson’s hit was “dirty”

Saints running back Darren Sproles believes Bucs safety Dashon Goldson’s hit on him was dirty. He tried to hurt me on the play, but he didn’t,” Sproles said, via the AP. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-2) at New England Patriots (2-0) Tom Brady completed under 50% of his passes in a game last week for the first time since 2009 and it took a perfect storm for that to happen. Guy Ends Up With Golf Tee Stuck in Tongue After Buddy in Saints Jersey Tries to Drive Ball Off His Mouth (Video)

There are so many possible jokes with this one that it’s hard to know where to start. There’s the guy lying in his nice backyard, sticking a golf tee in his mouth so his friend can hit a shot off his face. There’s the fact that the guy is holding a beer bottle as he lies down and places the sharp object in his mouth. There’s the Drew Brees jersey that his buddy is wearing...
