While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to adjust and change the bottom of their active roster, the team has announced the eight men they signed to their practice squad:
LB Jacob Cutera
TE Drake Dunsmore
WR Dale Moss
WR Bert Reed
LB J.K. Schaffer
OT Bradley Sowell
QB Adam Weber
DE Markus White
It is interesting that the Bucs went receiver heavy on the practice squad with two wide outs and one tight end when receiver is considered one of their positions of strength on the active roster.
Reed played his college ball at Florida State and finished as the fifth-leading receiver in school history.
Moss went to South Dakota and played four years on the basketball team. He only played football his final season at school and led the team in catches, yards, and touchdowns.
Dunsmore was drafted in the seventh-round by the Bucs back in April. In the preseason, Dunsmore caught two passes for nine yards.

Not many people were as low on the 2011 Tampa Bay Bucs as I was, and that was simply because I believed their key contributors in 2010, where they made a great leap forward in their development, would come back to earth in 2011 and their play would level out.
Why did I think this? Simply because it is unlikely that everyone that has a career year is going to come back and better...

Changes abound on the Gulf Coast this year, as first-year head coach Greg Schiano takes over from the underwhelming Raheem Morris (who was last seen doing his paper route).Schiano, who comes to Tampa via Rutgers University, has instilled a no-nonsense disciplinarian regime during his first training camp and it seems to be paying off.One of the players hoping to benefit most from...
Growing up, the Bucs never sold out a game. Well, I take that back, there was that occasional game when the Cowboys would roll into town. However, the majority of my youth contained visions of empty metal bleachers reflecting the sun, while 30,000 or fans where scalding while watching the Bucs get rolled at Tampa [...]
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been going through a young movement for a few seasons now. In addition to that, if new head coach Greg Schiano doesn't think any of his players are buying into the "Buccaneer way" then they are quickly shown the door.
While some of players the Bucs got rid of seemed questionable during the time, it seems as though they made the correct...
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got down to the 53-man roster limit on Friday night, but it was easy to see that roster they trimmed down to would not be the team that took the field next Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
On Saturday, head coach Greg Schiano that the roster would be a fluid situation through Tuesday and the Bucs have been busy already.
With only 52 players kept, the...

Tampa Bay is one of my underrated teams. In case you haven’t been following throughout the offseason, what I attempted to do this year was identify 5 underrated and 5 overrated teams going into the season and then bet them pretty much blindly for the first few weeks of the season until the odds makers...
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hoping new coach Greg Schiano can help revive a team that ended 2011 on a 10-game losing streak.
The Carolina Panthers are sensing they may be able to reach the playoffs after Cam Newton's record-setting rookie season.
