Found November 16, 2012 on Football Nation:
When the Carolina Panthers traveled to Tampa Bay in Week 1, the Bucs were able to escape with a 16-10 victory. This time around the Panthers will be at home which may be a bigger an advantage than you might think.Despite a very disappointing season, Carolina fans are still going out to the stadium with an attendance of 73,000 per game. The Bucs on the other hand, with a competitive team, is last in the NFL with about 54,000 per game.Good for you Carolina and shame on you Tampa Bay.Unfortunately for the Panthers home field advantage is not likely going to be enough to keep up with Tampa Bay.The Bucs’ offense is running on all cylinders, averaging 35.6 points over their last five games compared to 16.6 for the Panthers. Winning four of their last five, Tampa is playing great, their confident, and fighting for a playoff spot while Carolina is struggling, questioning each other, and fighting for anything to build on. Here are my three bold predictions for the game.1. Turnovers will keep T...

Not much is going right for the Panthers right now. Week 11 preview.

Cam Newton and the Panthers need to show that they have character as the season closes out. After a rough Week 10, I'm sitting at 92-54-1.  Who wants to keep track of a tie. Let's see if I can turn this around this week. Arizona at Atlanta - The Cards need to get some production from the QB position if they want any chance to make playoff this season. The...

Bucs game day: Keys to the game at Carolina

The Buccaneers took the first meeting against the Carolina Panthers this season by a score of 16-10 at Raymond James Stadium. Since then, the Panthers are ranked 10th in the NFL for most sacks with 25. Tampa Bay’s offensive line will be tested.  Keep Josh Freeman from hitting the turf The Buccaneers are 11-3 when quarterback Josh Freeman has a passer rating of 100 or more. In...

Panthers look to halt struggles vs. Bucs

The most promising aspect of the Carolina Panthers remaining schedule is that thereisn'ta Manning left on the slate. They have come and gone, leaving the Queen City with emphatic victories. Eli and the New York Giants took apart the Panthers 36-7 on a Thursday night in mid-September, and this past Sunday, Peyton and the Denver Broncos cashed in on defense and special teams to...

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers: Week 11 NFL Pick

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-4) at Carolina Panthers (2-7) The Buccaneers have really turned it around lately and are now road favorites in Carolina, pretty crazy considering they were road dogs in Oakland a couple weeks ago, 6 point dogs in Minnesota the week before that, home dogs for the Saints the week before that, and then just 4 point home favorites against the Chiefs the week before...

Buccaneers cut DT White

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Saturday that they released defensive tackle Markus White and signed defensive tackle Matthew Masifilo off San Francisco 49ers' practice squad. White was a seventh round draft pick of the Washington Redskins in 2011. He spent last season and part of this season with the Redskins. He was promoted from the Buccaneers' practice squad on Wednesday...

Weekly Rankings: The One Where I Tell The Tampa Bay Receivers To Bucc Off

As owners of this dynamic duo already know, both Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams have played well above their draft price nearly all year.  Vincent was the 24th WR off the board in yahoo leagues and Mike Williams was nothing more than an afterthought as the WR39.  It has been a perfect storm for fantasy relevance for these two.  One, Josh Freeman has bounced back from an abysmal...

Buccaneers' Martin leads new NFL rookie rankings

When my initial rookie rankings debuted a couple of weeks ago, Doug Martin came in at #7. Fast forward a couple of weeks, and Martin has emerged as a front runner for Offensive Rookie of the Year, and has slid up six spots to take the previous top spot from Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III. For the rest of the rookie rankings, read below.1.  Tampa Bay Buccaneers running...

Tampa Buccaneers Lead NFL With Highest “IR Payroll”

Per a report from Yahoo! Sports Brian McIntyre, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lead the NFL with the highest amount of cash payroll tied up with players listed on injured reserve (IR) with $30.1 million of their 2012 cap currently shutdown. The Bucs find themselves in this unfortunate position primarily due to starting guards Carl Nicks and Davin Joseph earning $22 million this year...
