The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are at the halfway point of the regular season and find themselves at 4-4. As a disclaimer, I predicted this was a 7-9 team heading into the regular season, but this is actually a team which should be 6-2 at this point. You can point to any of their losses and find two games more that this current Buccaneers team should have won. Dallas, New York Giants, Washington and New Orleans. However, the record is what it is and the team has to move forward from here.
At the mid-season mark, Buccaneers fans have to be pleased at what they are seeing this season from the franchise under first-year head coach Greg Schiano. The 2012 Buccaneers are the polar opposite of the 2011 version which hit the field. This is still a work in progress for Schiano and his coaching staff, but the Buccaneers are a highly competitive team in 2012, something fans didn’t witness in the second half of last season.
I’ve followed the Buccaneers since their inception into the league i...

San Diego Chargers (4-4) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-4)
The Buccaneers are surging thanks to Doug Martin’s improved play and the improved chemistry between Josh Freeman and new free agent deep threat acquisition Vincent Jackson.
