Fresh off a one-year league suspension, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have decided to give the hard hitting safety a new contract extension. This is a risky move by the Buccaneers, S Tanard Jackson has been suspended twice on substance abuse violations and another violation would result in a complete banishment of playing in the NFL with any future violation. Jackson has played in two games for the Buccaneers after bring reinstated and has recorded two interceptions. The safety’s new contract is reportedly $1.454 million this season and $2 million in 2012. Jackson gives the Buccaneers some much needed stability at the safety position. Cody Grimm has shown promise for the young Bucs defense, but has struggled to stay healthy and is dealing with another season ending injury this year.

Freeman And Winslow Are Still Buds

Calm down, everyone. It turns out that Josh Freeman and Kellen Winslow aren’t really mad at each other. What, you hadn’t heard? Here’s a rule to live by: Just because you hear something over and over, don’t assume it’s true. In this case, I’m referring to the notion that there’s something going on between Bucs tight end Kellen Winslow and...

Dezmon Briscoe The Gold Mine heads into week eight searching for more diamonds in the rough; you know, the guys that were labeled "bust" that slipped a good game under the eyes of the fantasy experts, or maybe the Kurt Warners of the world who were bagging groceries one week and lobbing touchdowns the next week. Hey Aqib Talib: I’m Not Sure A Coon-A-Ween Party Is The Best Look For You

If I’m a 25-year old, talented as hell, cornerback that maybe one slip up away from the CFL and had a rap sheet longer than Al Capone (Mad Dog voice), I don’t think I’d affiliate myself at an event called “Coon-A-Ween“. But that’s just me. Oh nice spelling on AQIB Talib also…that’s besides the point. Let’s just take a look at...

Report: Bucs coordinator doesn’t trust Freeman to throw deep

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are above .500 and just one game out of first place in the NFC South, but their season so far has been a little up and down. In week five, they lost by 45. In week six, they bounced back to beat the New Orleans Saints. In week seven, they lost a supremely ugly game to the Bears. One of the biggest reasons for this inconsistency? Josh Freeman's newfound...
