Last night during the Ravens-Redskins pre-season game ESPN’s Mike Tirico made an interesting comment after rookie Tandon Doss hauled in his first pass of the evening. He had said that it was reported that earlier in the night Doss had broken up a fight at a local restaurant. Gruden let out a half-laugh wondering where Tirico had come by such information.
Apparently it’s true, as Doss reported to the Baltimore Sun that he helped the 34-year old manager of a Five Guys as he was being attacked with a knife by two men. According to the police report the man with the knife was upset at being fired from the restaurant. The injured manager was treated for minor cuts and released.
