Tuesday is the players' day off in the NFL, so Redskins Park is mostly quiet today, save for a few players trickling in to get treatment on various ailments. But it might be a good time to put all the angst aside to deal with something far more significant. Chris Cooley's mother, Nancy, is a breast cancer survivor. Derrick Dockery's mother, Sheila, is a breast cancer survivor. Daniel Snyder's wife, Tanya, is a breast cancer survivor. With all that in mind, Cooley and Dockery hosted an event at Redskins Park for about two dozen local women who are currently battling breast cancer, the "Second Annual All Star Survivors Luncheon." And Tanya Snyder, who was diagnosed with the disease only last year, was named last week as one of the NFL's national spokespeople for breast cancer awareness.
