Exciting things are happening with the TCU women's basketball team. The Horned Frogs are off to a hot 5-0 start after defeating Army on Sunday, 88-51.

It was the end to a perfect 5-0 homestand to start the season that saw the Frogs winning by an average of 25+ points per game. 

First-year head coach Mark Campbell became the first first-year head coach in program history to win his inaugural five games.

The game was a special one for the TCU program. It was the 17th Annual Maggie Dixon Classic. It was the 17th year of the game, named after TCU men's basketball head coach Jamie Dixon's late sister. Maggie Dixon coached the Army Black Knights to an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2006. 

Transfer students Madison Conner and Sedona Prince continue to do what they've done every game this season - score and score a lot. The two combined for 57 points in Sunday's game. 

Prince pocketed a career-best 33 points on 12-19 shooting. The 6-7 center also recorded her NCAA-leading fourth double-double. She pulled down a career-best 16 rebounds over 35 minutes.

Conner, the reigning Big 12 Player of the Week, scored an easy 24 points on the strength of a 7-15 mark from downtown. The junior's seven deep balls were a career-high.

TCU assisted on a season-high 24 of its 32 attempts from the field. The Horned Frogs are now assisting on 71% of their field goals.

The Horned Frogs knocked down ten three-pointers for the third game this season.

TCU held Army to a 32.8 percent clip (20-61) from the field. The Horned Frogs have held all five opponents under 33 percent shooting this season.
