Tight end Heath Miller has followed in the steps of his teammates, agreeing to to restructure his current contract to help the team get under the salary cap.

Back in 2009, the Steelers inked Miller to a 6-year, $35.3 million extension that included a $12.5 signing bonus. There’s no official word on just how the deal is being done now, but his 2011 salary cap hit was scheduled to be $5.6 million.

Miller is the 6th player to redo his deal, along with Ben Roethlisberger, James Harrison, Chris Kemoeatu and Brett Keisel.
