New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was his usual self as he continues to find common ground with a slew of new receivers, but beyond him, things look a little bleak.
Backup Ryan Mallett left with an injury in the second quarter, but what we saw out of him in his abbreviated time on the field was an uneven performance with inaccurate throws. Mallett went 9 of 18 for 97 yards before leaving to spend the rest of the night on the sidelines.
After the game, he said that he didn't suffer a concussion as was thought, but "just got hit in the chest," according to the Boston Globe's Ben Volin.
Mallett's exit put Tebowmania back on the map, as Tim hit the field to cheers from the Philadelphia crowd. He then proceeded to best Mallett in the who's the most inaccurate passer on this team category.
Tebow's time on the field was sprinkled with plenty of read option plays and holding on to the ball way too long. In the end, he went 4 of 12 for 55 yards, but also ran for a good 31 yards. One bright spot was that Tebow led the team to a nice TD drive when Mallett couldn't do much of anything.
