Tebowmania was at a peak when the Jets brought Wildcat quarterback Tim Tebow over from the Denver Broncos last winter. The darling of the NFL went from riding a wave of popularity to riding the pine.
Now one New York City sporting goods store has used Tebow's status on the bench to help promoting New York Jets merchandise.
According to Darren Rovell's Twitter account, a Dick's Sporting Goods display features Jets players — all standing except for Tebow — who sits comfortably on a bench.

With the disastrous 2012 Jets season over and stores looking to unload the slow-selling Jets gear, Dick's is having a little fun at Tebow's expense.
Standing around Tebow in the display are mannequins with the uniforms of Mark Sanchez, Santonio Holmes Bart Scott and Nick Mangold. Tebow sits off to the front side of his teammate dummies in his most familiar pose of the season — as New York's most famous benchwarmer.
