New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow reached out Monday night to an upstate New York teenager, who was hospitalized with injuries suffered in a car accident. Tebow called Matt Hardy, a 17-year-old Shenedehowa High School student after a Twitter campaign went viral. Hardy was involved in a two car accident that killed two of his fellow students, Chris Stewart and Deanna Rivers, according to ESPN. The driver of the other vehicle failed alcohol tests at the scene. Around 7 p.m. Monday night the hashtag #TebowCallMatt trended nationally on Twitter with more than 50,000 Twitter users retweeting the tag. Tebow called Hardy after 9 p.m.  Hardy's brother, Michael tweeted: ""TIM TEBOW JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MATT! SUCH A CLASS ACT!!" Tebow later tweeted: Thanks to everyone who got #TebowCallMatt trending & helped connect us. Matt truly inspired me. God bless y'all — Tim Tebow (@TimTebow) December 4, 2012 Hardy, who plays football and basketball at Shenendehowa, was upgraded to stable condition Monday night with a concussion and broken bones, according to ESPN. A hashtag #MissyCallBailey also went Viral Monday night with 16,000 Twitter users retweeting the tag to get Olympic swimmer Missy Franklin to call Bailey Wind, another teen involved in the accident. Franklin said she left Bailey a phone message.
