We recently reported that a Russian football team made Tim Tebow a contract offer.   Well it looks like Tebow has turned that offer down. According to USA TODAY Sports,  a Russian news outlet called R-Sport recieved an email from the owner of the Moscow Black Storm claiming that Tebow said no to their offer. “Unfortunately agents of Tim Tebow turn down our proposal. I hope that its Tebow’s agents’ fault that the contract wasn’t signed and Tim couldn’t do anything about it. If it was his decision – it’s very upsetting. And in this case we don’t want him in our team anyway.” Should we really be surprised Tebow said no.  He’s not even willing to play in the Canadian Football League right now, never mind a Russian football league.   Need NFL Tickets? • He should just go play in Canada, maybe if he gets some real time playing QB he might sharpen his skills enough to get another crack at the NFL. Right now he is too unpolished, a strong arm for sure, but too unpolished to play QB in the greatest league on the planet.

Hey, it might not be pretty, as two of those wins were ugly, but 3-0 is still 3-0. New England’s 23-3 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was as dominant as you could get. Granted...

Round Table: Fixing the Offense

What do the Patriots need to do to get the offense back on track? Derek:  I think they just need to be patient.  Gronk, Amendola, and Vereen will all be back in time.  In the mean time, this is the perfect situation to let the rookies develop some chemistry with Tom Brady.  For all the drops, missed throws, and wrong routes that we saw last Thursday night, I think most people...

Patriots Life Poll: Star of the Game

The quick takeaways from the Patriots 23-3 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were: The Pats defense could be this teams biggest strength, Tom Brady doesn't need to send the Bat-Signal for Brandon Lloyd, the rookie wideouts may be a work in progress, but they are talented and Greg Schiano will not be confused with Vince Lombardi anytime soon. It was a solid effort all-around...

Congrats to Ninkovich on his contract extension through 2016!...

Congrats to Ninkovich on his contract extension through 2016! Great move for the Pats and I think it’s safe to now put him amongst the great all-time free agent signings by Bill Belichick. An afterthought signed in camp in 2009 has become one of the unsung heroes of the Patriots defense, similar to the last man to wear No. 50 Mike Vrabel.
