Rex Ryan says he'll make a game-time decision on whether Tim Tebow plays in the New York Jets' game in Jacksonville against the Jaguars on Sunday. Tebow, healing from two broken ribs, will travel to his hometown with the team and Ryan will determine before the game if the backup quarterback plays. Ryan says Tebow, who was limited all week in practice, did a lot more on the field than he had in previous weeks. If Tebow can play, Ryan says Friday it's possible all three quarterbacks - Mark Sanchez, Greg McElroy and Tebow - could be active. Tight end Dustin Keller will likely not play after being sidelined all week at practice with a sprained left ankle. He's listed as doubtful, while wide receiver Clyde Gates (concussion) is out. --- Online: http://pro32.ap.org/poll and http://twitter.com/AP-NFL

Tim Tebow makes awkward TiVo ad

Despite being a backup quarterback on a team with a terrible starting quarterback, Tim Tebow is still one of the most talked about people in America. People love Tebow so much that ESPN devoted 99.99999% of its programming this year to focusing on whether or not the former Florida Gator could turn the Jets around, how his All-American persona could co-exist with the bullseye media...

Preview: Jets (5-7) @ Jaguars (2-10)

This week the Jets travel to Tim Tebow's hometown to play the Jaguars, unfortunately for the legion of Tebow supporters who undoubtedly wanted to line up to watch him play quarterback, equally unfortunate for many Jet fans that Greg McElroy won't be getting the start either, as you know, since it's all that anyone has talked about the entire week, Mark Sanchez will remain...

Tebow listed as questionable for Sunday

Backup quarterback Tim Tebow practiced on a restricted basis this week and was questionable on the injury report for Sunday's game against Jacksonville. Tebow could be a game-time decision on whether his injured ribs are healed enough to back up starter Mark Sanchez. He sat out last week's game against Arizona when Greg McElroy replaced Sanchez and led a touchdown drive...

Tim Tebow’s parents reportedly like his girlfriend Camilla Belle

Tim Tebow is nothing if not a family man. The New York Jets quarterback has openly state on numerous occasions that family and faith come before football. That’s the main reason we laugh at the prospect of him being interested in people like Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian. It just would never happen, but the same cannot be said for the lovely actress he has reportedly been dating...

Rex Ryan does not feel that loyalty to Mark Sanchez will cost him his job

When New York Jets coach Rex Ryan benched his quarterback Mark Sanchez on Sunday he made a statement. Initially the statement seemed to be ‘forget Sanchez and Tim Tebow, I am going with the kid that went to Alabama: Greg McElroy.’ That thought was confirmed as a misfire on Wednesday when Ryan declared that he would return to Sanchez to start this Sunday’s game against the...

Keller, Tebow uncertain vs. Jags

New York Jets tight end Dustin Keller sat out practice for the second straight day with a sprained left ankle, leaving his status for the team's game at Jacksonville on Sunday uncertain. Backup quarterback Tim Tebow was limited for the second straight day with two broken ribs, and might not be ready to go against the Jaguars. Keller, the Jets' second-leading receiver with...

Sanchez Named Starter for Sunday, Jets QB Woes

After being pulled late in week 13′s matchup against the capricious Arizona Cardinals after throwing his third INT and generally being ineffective, Sanchez will get yet another shot in the saddle. Rex Ryan has named Mark Sanchez the starting QB for Sunday’s game in Jacksonville, in what some would call an appalling display of “cement-headedness.” This decision [...] [...

Jets Wanted Chad Henne, Not Tim Tebow, to Compete With Mark Sanchez for Quarterback Job

The quarterback controversy in New York appears to have no end in sight. And another wrinkle just made it even more complicated. Mark Sanchez is keeping his starting job, for now. But after being benched for third-stringer Greg McElroy last week, and chants for Tim Tebow continuing to fill the stands at MetLife Stadium, Sanchez may not have that job for very long. Now, as the Jets...

Pity the New York Jets: Reid latest with swipe

The New York Jets and their quarterback controversy have turned into Washington's political football. In August, President Barack Obama questioned the Jets' decision to acquire Tim Tebow when they had quarterback Mark Sanchez, who had led the team to the playoffs two years in a row. Then this week, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took a swipe at Republicans in the midst...

Morals, Madams and Malevolence: KSK Kontent Klearinghouse

Via @samanthasteeleespn – Vikings quarterback Christian Pounder proposed to his girlfriend and ESPN College Game Day host Samantha Steele by spelling out “Marry Me” in Christmas lights. When asked by a local Minnesota gossip columnist if their engagement had been “a biblically chaste courtship,” Pounder responded “Uh, no, it’s not.” What the heck Minnesotans, I thought...

Jets-Jaguars Preview

Mark Sanchez statistically ranks as one of the worst starting quarterbacks in the NFL, but coach Rex Ryan still believes the embattled signal caller gives the New York Jets the best chance to win. Despite being benched during another dismal performance, Sanchez will be under center to start the Jets' road matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Ryan's faith in...
