Tennessee Titans locker room(@Tennessee Titans) Overtime. You ask anybody at 11 A.M if they would be happy with the Tennessee Titans taking the Houston Texans to overtime, and the answer would be an overwhelming yes. Was the end ideal for the Titans? No, but they can head back to Nashville with their heads high, knowing that they can play with anybody in the NFL. The defense had their hands full today, considering they had two future hall of famers in front of them, with a great quarterback in Matt Schaub, and they stood up. Alterraun Verner had one of the highlight moments of his career and the Titans season, intercepting Schaub and taking it to the house for the first time since 2011, over 1,000 pass attempts between interceptions returned for touchdowns. Arian Foster was limited to one touchdown and 79 yards. Midway through the fourth quarter, Andre Johnson went back to the locker room after a fierce hit by Bernard Pollard. Offensively, the numbers again didn’t look that great, but they don’t tell the full story. Drive after drive this offensive line put the team in the hole, with false starts and holding calls that set the offense in difficult positions. However, they had some great play from Chris Johnson, considering the defense, and a massive 99 yard drive in the fourth quarter to take the lead. Jake Locker was composed, completing pass after pass, marching down the field like an all pro. Kendall Wright and Kenny Britt had key catches at key moments, and they finished the game strong. While the Titans still lost on the scoreboard, they won many battles, and earned some much needed respect in a great week 2 game.

Benching serves as Kenny Britt's warning from Tennessee Titans

Kenny Britt is big enough strong enough and fast enough to make a big impact for the Titans every week. Through two games however the wide receiver has been mostly invisible.
