The Tennessee Titans will play at the Indianapolis Colts this weekend at Lucas Oil Stadium. Scheduled for a 1 p.m EST kickoff the game will be aired on CBS.
Indianapolis struggled until the end of last season to find a win. This year the team has 8 and appear headed to the playoffs despite losing head coach Chuck Pagano early in the season to leukemia cancer. Andrew Luck is clearly the reason for the change in the Colts record as his play at quarterback has generated more points and much needed rest for a shaky defense.
The Tennessee Titans have lost their last two games against Houston and Jacksonville. Despite being a team with 8 losses the team has not lost 3 in a row all season. In the Titans October loss to the Colts running back Chris Johnson totaled 99 yards. After that game he topped 100 yards the following two weeks but was held in check by Houston and then a poor Jacksonville team. As Johnson goes so do the Titans on both sides of the ball.
So whats the point spread in the Colts and Titans game? The Colts are 5.5 point favorites against the Titans. The over/under for the game has been set at 48.
It was the blunder of the week for odds-makers. Last week the Colts were 3 point underdogs against the Detroit Lions. Really?
Prediction: The Colts win this one. Considering the up and downs with the Titans and the fact the Colts defeated them in Tennessee by 6 (even if it was overtime) we expect the Colts to more then cover in this one. That game happened six weeks ago and the Colts are 4-1 since that time winning by an average of 7.25.
Indianapolis scores 22.7 points per game while Tennessee has scored 20.7. The fun comes on defense. Indianapolis has allowed 22.5 points per game while Tennessee allows 29.9. For those reasons we like the over.

The Indianapolis Colts have seemingly been blessed. Or, if you prefer, Luck-y.
See what I did there?
In all seriousness though, if you could show me one single person – press or fan – who thought the Colts would be 8-4 with a decent chance at 11 wins in the pre-season, then I could show you a big fat liar. There’s no way anyone, even the most diehard fan (of which I unshamefully...
Pro Football Weekly writes that there’s no question that the Titans should pick up RB Chris Johnson‘s $9 million option.
PFW adds that Tennessee has plenty of cap space to work with, so the steep price tag isn’t exactly the same kind of obstacle for them that it would be for other NFL teams. They also cite Johnson’s durability and explosiveness as other reasons why...

After seven dynamite weeks, Johnson has clocked in below 4.0 ypc in three straight games. He's failed to score a touchdown...
It's not always pretty, but the Colts are the masters of the fourth-quarter comeback this season.Indianapolis did it again on Sunday, coming back late to top the Tennessee Titans 27-23. Andrew Luck surpassed Vince Young & Ben Roethlisberger (5) en route to his sixth fourth-quarter comeback on the season, the most by a rookie quarterback since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970....

Andrew Luck's dynamic rookie season is even more impressive when considering that most of the people he's throwing to are new to the NFL, too.

Tennessee Titans (4-8) vs Indianapolis Colts (8-4)
The Titans travel to Indianapolis with revenge on their mind from an overtime thriller with the Colts, in what started Andrew Luck’s run of brilliance over the course of the last few weeks. If you recall, Luck executed a swing pass to fellow rookie Vic Ballard in overtime, who torpedoed his way through tackles to catch the pylon...
The Indianapolis Colts take the field Sunday in a rematch game from week 8 that saw the Colts win their first road game at LP Field in the Ryan Grigson/Andrew Luck era.
In that game, the Colts trailed the Titans 13-6 with 10:26 to play. Andrew Luck led the Indy offense on a 14 play, 80 yard touchdown drive that consumed 7:02. That tied the game at 13-13. The Colts defense was able...

Fantasy Rapid Fire: Week 14
We all want to kick some butt this weekend, but a high number of fantasy owners are about to be eliminated from the race to the championship. “Any Given Sunday” is a perfect analogy to not only the chances of an NFL team, but a fantasy team as well. Regardless of this weekends stressful results, I want everyone to promise me that they will start a...
