You may still be unsure about what to ask Santa to bring you for Christmas, but fans of the Tennessee Titans (7-7, 1-3) know his or her wishes this holiday. There are many, but here are the big ones for Mr. Cringle:
1. Give CJ the ’09 2K magic back:
In 2009, Titans RB Chris Johnson had a magical season with 2,006 yards rushing and 14 touchdowns. He followed that performance with a 1,364 yard, 11 touchdown seasons in 2010.
This season, after a preseason contract holdout, Johnson has not been the electric, exciting runner as in years past. He looks unsure running the ball and not hitting the line with the same burst of speed Titans’ fans saw in his first three seasons in the league.
Johnson, however, has shown flashes of his past brilliance. Against Buffalo and Tampa Bay he rushed for 153 and 190 yards respectively; however, he followed that with one of his worst performances--a 23 yard outing versus New Orleans.
